Sofoil presented at the International Well Testing Forum XIV

Sofoil attended the 14th International Well Testing Forum, held in Moscow on April 15–16, 2025. The event was organized by the Moscow Institute of Oil and Gas Business.

On April 16, our colleague Vladimir Krichevsky delivered presentation «Features of Dynamic Monitoring in Oil Rim Reservoir Development».

• In oil rim development, analysis of dynamic surveillance data from wells provides insights into both the reservoir’s oil‑bearing zone and its water‑bearing horizon, even when wells produce only oil.
• A comprehensive skin factor indicator enables forecasting of potential water breakthrough into the well.
• Based on these findings, optimal production targets were established for each well to boost oil recovery and prevent premature water breakthrough.
