This is a primary tool to select the surveillance candidates for additional data acquisition.
Multiwell Retrospective Testing is a software-aided workflow to analyze the bottom hole history records against the rate variations based on Polygon software and understand the potential drainage volumes, boundary type and its proximity, reservoir transmissibility, cross-well connectivity and reconstruct the history of formation pressure and productivity. It gives a lot of constraints to future reservoir model. It also helps to identify wells with suboptimal performance and propose a proper surveillance.
Multi-Scenario Field Development Planning is a specific workflow based on multiple iterations performed by asset teams and/or corporate individuals via PolyPlan web-facility which automatically translates the field activities (drilling workover, conversions, surveillance) into the model runs and reverting back with production/surveillance results.
3D Geological & Flow Modelling is a specific modelling workflow which takes pressure-calibrated model from XPM as input and adjusts the rest of the model properties to match saturation profile in new wells and gas/water/oil ratio dynamics in existing wells.
Pulse Code Testing is specific implementation of Pressure Interference Testing based on PolyGon software and bottom-hole pressure/rate readings of zFlux memory tool which can be deployed over the working wells without punishing production delays caused by responding wells shut-down. It provides the critical information on the cross-well reservoir properties, such as permeability, effective thickness and in some cases displacement efficiency.
Reservoir Flow Profiling is a combination of multi-rate production logging and bottom-hole pressure deconvolution which translates into better understanding of vertical reservoir flow and pressure profile in multi-layer formations.
