Sofoil Presented Prime at the Practice GeoChemistry & Modeling 2026 Conference

On June 25–26, the Practice GeoChemistry & Modeling 2026 conference, organized by the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University, took place in Kazan. Held annually, the event brings together oil and gas industry professionals to discuss advanced research methods, digital reservoir modeling, and innovative IT solutions.

As part of the Digital Reservoir Modeling session, Ilgizar Nuriev, a representative of Sofoil, delivered a presentation titled “The Prime Tool: From Automated Diagnostics to Economically Justified Well Intervention Programs for Mature Fields.” The paper will be included in the conference proceedings for 2026.

During the presentation, a comprehensive technology workflow was introduced, featuring the ALPHA module (automatic analysis of field development history using more than 350 parameters and proxy model generation), DIRECT (generation of economically evaluated well intervention recommendations), and an LLM-based interface combining a chatbot with interactive reporting. Using real-world case studies from Western Siberia and Indonesia, the presentation demonstrated how Prime accelerates data analysis, identifies the potential for drilling, stimulation, and well isolation operations, and ranks well intervention activities based on their economic efficiency.

The presentation attracted significant interest from conference participants and sparked an engaging discussion. We thank the organizers for the opportunity to present our solutions to the professional community and exchange experience with industry colleagues!
