Sofoil Participated in the Conference and Exhibition “Potential of Northern part of Western Siberia: Resources and Technologies”

On June 16–17, the conference and exhibition “Potential of Northern part of Western Siberia: Resources and Technologies”, organized by NOVATEK, took place in Tyumen. The event brought together leading oil and gas companies, service companies, and industry experts.

As part of the conference program, Danila Gulyaev, a representative of Sofoil, delivered a presentation titled “Results of Testing an Automated AI-Based System for Calculating Oil Production Enhancement Potential”.

During his presentation, he introduced the capabilities of the system, which uses artificial intelligence to analyze historical data, assess production growth potential, and generate recommendations for various production enhancement activities — from drilling, stimulation and water shut-offs to optimizing well production and injection targets. It was emphasized that this approach enables reservoir engineers to make well-informed decisions more quickly and prioritize development activities based on the Profitability Index (PI).
