Sofoil Showcased Its Technologies at the EAGE/FESM Conference on Petrophysics Meets Geoscience in Kuala Lumpur

From 18 to 20 November 2025, Kuala Lumpur became the center of global discussion on the future of subsurface science as it hosted the EAGE/FESM Conference on Petrophysics Meets Geoscience. The event brought together experts from 25 countries, creating a vibrant space for exchanging ideas, new technologies, and fresh views on the challenges of the energy transition.

On 19 November, our Well & Reservoir Management (WRM) Domain Champion, Vladimir Kalinnikov, took the stage with his talk “Refining Directional Permeability and Interwell Connectivity in a Mature Carbonate Brownfield Using Pulse Code Testing (PCT)”. He highlighted how PCT helps uncover key reservoir insights — all without shutting in wells.

A day later, on 20 November, Vladimir presented another impactful paper — this time on Multiwell Retrospective Testing (MRT). His talk demonstrated how MRT improves fault localization and reserves assessment, supporting smarter decisions in the redevelopment of mature fields.

Sofoil’s presence at the conference once again underscored the strong global interest in our technologies — and our commitment to advancing efficient, sustainable reservoir development!
